What is a veneer:
A veneer is a very thin, lab-made porcelain restoration that is bonded on the front teeth to improve their appearance. Veneers are similar to crowns, except that not as much tooth structure is removed.
Why get a veneer?
Veneers are typically done to improve a patient’s appearance and smile. They are most often used on teeth that are stained or crowded, or for teeth that are chipped or have gaps. If you’re unhappy with how your teeth look you may be a candidate for veneers.
Will my teeth look fake?
Well-made veneers are very lifelike and nobody can tell that they are veneers. I work with a local lab that does beautiful work. They do custom shading that matches your teeth perfectly. They are truly artists!
